BLUES BEAT:
THE ST3 TRIBUNE
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Some Plans for 2024…
As we bid farewell to the old and welcome the new, the Trio is getting ready to ROLL in 2024! We’re super stoked over what’s happened already, and I can’t wait to share it with you. Let’s dive into the latest happenings, milestones, and upcoming plans as we continue to work our way towards being south Georgia’s blues ambassadors!
A Milestone Celebration: 100 Followers on Facebook! π
We know, we know… it ain’t much, but the journey of a thousand miles and all that… we’re still thrilled to share the news that our Facebook family has grown to over 100 followers! A heartfelt thank you to each one of you who clicked that ‘like’ button, hit ‘follow,’ and did all those modern magic tricks to help us reach this milestone. Your support keeps us motivated, and we can’t wait to continue this musical journey with all of you.
Blues at the Pub: Unforgettable First Gig! πΈ
What a night in Tifton! Our FIRST official gig – a spontaneous addition to the calendar by our friends at the Pub – was nothing short of PHE-nominal! The response from Tifton exceeded our wildest expectations… it’s evident that there’s a real thirst for the blues out there, and we can’t wait to get back and give ’em another helping of it real soon. With that one in the books – and a high benchmark set – we’re eager to see if the same awesome spirit holds true with their neighbors to the south… mark your calendars for next week (January 13th) at Big Dummy’s – ’cause we’re bringing the Trio to Lake Park! We can’t wait to hit the stage and see if the blues has a home out there too.
New Additions to Our Digital Hub: Explore the ST3 Universe! π
We’ve been busy behind the scenes, enhancing your user experience here. We’ve added a few pics to the website and we plan to keep on documenting and updating as much as we can. From on-stage moments to behind-the-scenes snapshots, our gallery is a window into the journey we’re on – please feel free to check out our new gallery and video sections if you haven’t already!
Calling All Blues Enthusiasts: Share Your ST3 Moments! π·πΆ
Being just three dudes, it can be really tough to keep the sections mentioned up there up-to-date… so we’d like to enlist your help with that. We’re excited to announce that we’re now accepting user-submitted content! Got a great pic from our gig or a video capturing the essence of ST3? Feel free to upload it to the cloud and share those moments with us. Let’s build a collective tapestry of ST3 memories together. We have the code right here or you can click this link to get started uploading – your submission would really make our day!
Upcoming Plans: Subscription Page for Exclusive Gig Notifications! π€
Ever missed a gig because you didn’t catch the announcement? We hear you! Soon, we’ll be launching a subscription page for gig notifications via email and, if technology (and let’s be honest, BUDGET) permits, SMS. Stay tuned for this feature to ensure you never miss a blues-filled night with ST3.
The journey has just begun, and we’re thrilled to have you along for the ride. Thank you for your support, and here’s to a year filled with soul-stirring blues and unforgettable moments. See you at Big Dummy’s in Lake Park β let’s make it a night to remember!
Keep groovin’,

With the holiday season in full swing it seems like forever ago that we posted here announcing the launch of the site. We might have mentioned last time that word got out just a SHADE early, so we’ve been stuck posting musical memes and non-news for a little while, BUT THAT ALL CHANGES TODAY! ST3 is proud to announce that both the site and the social channels will finally be getting some content that’s ACTUALLY related to our musical endeavors. It’s been a long time coming, but here’s what you can expect in the next few weeks from us:
First up: Actual Music
Next week we plan to offer a sneak peek into what we’ll be bringing to the table once we hit the local clubs in January. To give everyone a glimpse of what we have in mind, we’ll be recording next Tuesday’s (December 26th) rehearsal and posting some highlights so that you’ll see what we mean when we say “electric blues and rock.” Our sets are a little out of the norm for around here, but we’re confident that we’re hitting on some sounds that this area will LOVE once they get an earful! Keep an eye out on our Facebook and Instagram pages for that to drop, and let us know what you’re most excited to hear! We can’t wait to share these tunes with you and rock the local scene. Stay tuned!
Then: GET TO WORK!
Once we’ve shared a bit of sound and video for folks to check out, we plan on ramping up our gig schedule come the first of the year. We’re already booked for a couple of weekends, and we’d love to see you at those events. Plenty of dates remain open in ’24, and we’re eager to fill up our calendar. If you know of (or ARE) a venue open to getting rockin’, please feel free to shoot us a message!
Aaaand we’re GO!
EDIT:
An eagle-eyed reader noticed that we listed next Tuesday as the 25th instead of the 26th – thank you for the correction, and the Tribune regrets the error π

Welcome to the Blues Beat: the ST3 Tribune!
Get it? TRI-bune…? Sorry, I’ll show myself out. But before I DO let me talk a little about what we’re doing here.
This website is a labor of love for me, and I hope that 1) it works for you and 2) you like it. I’ll be making every effort to keep it updated as the group kicks into high gear, so check in here (this page in particular) for the latest in what’s going on with the Seth Tucker Trio. In that vein, let me catch you up on the saga so far..
We’re currently in the “build-up” phase of things, as you can see by the lack of coolness like pictures, video, and audio here. The trio wasn’t QUITE ready to go public just yet – but that’s a story for another day ;). Since we ARE live now, let me tell you what the plans are for the next few weeks.
The band is in full-fledged catch-up mode. We are hoping to get things rolling faster in the next couple of weeks by simultaneously recording two or three demo tracks and getting some pics and video happening so we can make this place a little less … well, sparse. We do have a couple of shows in the books already (huge thanks to Big Dummy’s Pub and the Slice Pizzeria for giving us a shot!) but at the time of this writing we have not been incredibly active in pursuing gigs just yet… mainly because of the aforementioned lack of content here and on social media.
With the addition of the pics, vids, and an EPK to the site that should change pretty quickly. After we’ve generated the needed content we’ll lean full-bore into getting some gig dates. We’re thinking maybe the first of the year we should be ready to start actively hitting up the people on the scene to get that booking calendar filled out!
So let me wrap things up by saying WELCOME one more time, and I hope you come back from time to time to take a look around as things change. ST3 thinks the scene around here is ready for some good old-fashioned bluesin’ and we’re looking forward to seeing each and every one of you in the next few weeks. You can join us on our blues journey by heading over to our Facebook and Instagram pages to give us the ol’ “Like and Follow” treatment if you like, and I hope to see each and every one of you at our shows at the turn of the year!
